Diamond Head Cliffs

Diamond Head cliffs offer a panoramic view of the pacific, a great place for a family picnic, and an excellent surf spot. Even toddlers appreciate this view. Directions to the cliffs.

There is plenty of parking surrounding the view point.

As you can see Diamond Head Cliffs is a popular surf spot among locals.

Near the parking area there is pathway that leads down to one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. Best of all they have shower facilities to wash the sand and salt water off.

One of the first views of Diamond head beach .

Diamond Head Cliffs is a great place for a picnic with plenty of spots where there is shade. Every time we go to DHC it isn't that crowded and parking is never an issue.

A Hawaiian Monk Seal enjoying the beach as much as everyone else.

If your family does spot a Hawaiian Monk seal make sure to keep a safe distance and respect their territory.

There is great hiking in both directions of the shore line. Plenty of seashells to hunt and driftwood for kids to play around.

Make sure the kids mind the slippery rocks. For an uncrowded experience complete with an unforgettable view, make sure to visit Diamond Head Cliffs. Any questions let us know in the comment section below.

  1. Thank you for posting about your family excursions. My family and I are coming to Oahu in June and we were looking for a nice beach that is away from the crowds at Waikiki. Looks like we found it!
